Hi, I’m Ben.

But around here, everyone calls me The Pixel Cowboy.

I am a digital artist and a grown-up who remains a kid at heart. In 2024, I started drawing quirky pixel characters on a digital canvas, and over time I created a whole village for them.

Once I realized that a whole village full of characters was waiting to go on adventures, I decided I’d better give them a story. And that’s how The Villagers were born.

Each pixel character was made by hand with care.

Why I made this

I have a lot of cherished childhood memories that involve reading and making art.

I believe imagination is one of the most important things to develop during the early years. My goal is to give other kids their own cherished memories — and hopefully to inspire them to create their own art.

That’s it. That’s the whole reason this exists.
